I have a pair of b/w clowns by themselves in a 30 gallon. I had to remove them from my 90 gal b/c the male was getting beat up by my false percs. They have been a the 30 gallon for over 3 weeks. The male right fin is still shreaded looking and he lays on the sand for most of the day. When its time to eat he eats like a pig and swims around. I have noticed that his tail fin is starting to also look beat up. I havent noticed the female picking on him at all. Do you think it will heal on its own? Do you think he has a fish disease? Any suggestions on what to do?

I don't know what it worth, but I also had a pair of B/W in a 120 with a larger set of O/W. It went well for 4 months, then I caught the O/W male grabbing the female B/W by the fin and throwing her around. She had an actual bite out of her top fin. I moved them to their own tank and after a few weeks but the fin has finally completely healed. It did look real bad tho.
