Sick? Dunno...Help

When I fed my anemone frozen cooked shrimp, it got smaller and released a type of steam or gas like particle. Is this bad or is this natural for an anemone?

sounds like it is excreting waste - they really shrink up to do so, does it return to normal after a few hours?

yeah it turned back to normal after i turned the light off
