Sick Firefish?

I have a firefish that ive had for about a week now and I noticed his dorsal fin that raises as he swims has kind of fallen off. It is still there just not covered in the normal white "fin looking" skin. The skeleton of the fin still raises and the fish is acting normally and eating. Ill try and post some pics later but has anyone had this happen before. I didnt notice when I got him but it looks like some of the other firefish in the store may have been picking on him. I have a Firefish whose dorsal fin is always getting bitten off/broken off and then it regrows. I figured it was either my Maroon Clown or it getting broken off when he darts inside a rock hole.

man I thought I was the only one. My firefishs' fin periodically disappears.
