Background information:
I got this frag from Petco about 3 months ago, it had about 5 polyps when I got it, and now it has several. When I first got him, prior to putting him in the tank, I dipped it to get rid of pests, and noticed it had A LOT, maybe Petco had tank problems, some algae was also growing on it. The frag has been in my tank for a while now with no problems, but about 2 weeks ago, I noticed that some of the polyps had some white coloration around. I figured it was no big deal, maybe stress and it would go back to normal eventually. Nothing has really changed and I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it. I do 50% water change every week, the last one was 3 days ago, and the parameters look okay. Currently, 6 polyps have this white coloration on them, and it seems that the algae it came with, is taking over the frag, I've also attempted to cut off as much algae from it as possible.
