I wanted to let everyone know that Doris' daughter Whitney has been in the CCU at Jackson Madison County Hospital since Tues of last week. She had a stomach virus that triggered an Addison's Crisis. She is recovering but has been a VERY sick young lady the past week. All your thought and prayers would be appreciated.

Thanks

I want to think everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Whitney is in MICU room 764. We are so hoping to be out in a regular room soon. The nurses have all been awesome. They are allowing me to stay in the room around the clock with her. They have brought me up a cot so that I can get some rest. Again everyone continue to pray for her.

does anyone have the address, it would be nice for her to get some flowers or cards. I don't live over there so I don't have any idea.

I am sure she would appreciate cards. However, while she is in Critical Care, she can't have flowers. I will get the address and post it. Nice thought Del.

I will be in Texas till Mon. So I may not be able to get it out in time. IF she is still there Mon. I would like to send a card, even at home if she is lucky and get out.

Whitney is in a room now 7132 7 north. Her condition is improving very slowly but I am so thankful to God that she is alive because she came so close to dying. Again I want to thank all my reef friends for your thoughts and prayers and please continue to pray for her. You guys are the best.I know some of you mentioned sending cards. It is great news that Whitney has been moved out of Critical Care. I know you are so thankful she is on the road to recovery. I will continue to keep you and Whitney in my prayers.

Doris,

I can't even imagine how scared you must have been. I hope Whitney is feeling better and gets to go home soon.

Whitney is at home. We got home around 7:30 tonight. She is real weak and has to go first thing Monday to have her potassium level drawn but we are so excited to be at home. I really dont think we will have any trouble sleeping tonight. I have the upmost respect for the ER ,MICU, and the 7 North nurses. Everyone treated us like family. Also thanks again for everyone's thoughts and prayers. I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting.
