sick of making this mistake...

Well, I was under the assumption that all fairy wrasses are friendly. I've had a tri color for quite some time and then added a carpenter fairy last night. Needless to say the tri color is being an A**. He pretty much doesnt quit chasing him. I'm hoping they will eventually settle down and get along. I will try the fish trap if i have too, but last time i didn't have much success with it.
The funny thing is that I went through this whole ordeal with a sixline when i added the tricolor months ago.
Now it seems I find out tri colors are know for being mean too. Can someone please give me a quick list of all other 0MEAN "reef safe" wrasses so this doesn't happen again.

Usually its best to add wrasses simultaneously to avoid issues or try to rearrange the decor-rocks to break up territories and create confusion to the existing wrasse.

No necessarily so. You can socially acclimate by floating new arrivals in a breeding cup to allow the old timers to get used to their new neighbor.
