I recently had, and still kind of have an issue with Hair algae, and now Cyano Bacteria?
Treated with phosbuster by caribsea. Been doing 20% water changes weekly. I never see any Nitrates, or Phosphates in the tank. Anemone doing fine. Corals fine.
Added seachen PhosGuard to filter chamber.
Anemone pulled into itself, and has not opened in 5-6 days. The last 2 days when the lights first come on, it has 1/4-1/2" of tenticles out. one of the clowns seemed to be nipping at them, so I put some food in to get his attention away from it.
parameters are:
pH - 8.0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite -0
Ammonia - 0
Specific Gravity 1.024
Phosphate - 0
KH - 8 or 143.2 mg/l
Cal 380
Tanks has been up for over a year, RBTA in tank about a year. Lighting is stock Biocube 32 LED. Haven't changed lighting. I Feed corals and Anemone monthly maybe ?
