sick porcupine puffer

I recently purchased a 3-4 inch porcupine puffer. He seemed to be eating well but I noticed he stopped eating for the past two three days and then this morning I could see he was having trouble swimming normally and now he's almost completley on his back.

any suggestions?

sounds like stress. the fact that he's on his back is very very bad.
what are your water parameters? How recent is recent? what are its other tank mates? what is the size of the tank? etc. details like that would help.

If he's on his back he's done. Not your fault -- sometimes fish just don't take.

Put him in qt asap and see if he gets better. He may need some time to get used to the new surroundings. if a porc is not eating it is a problem.
