I have a 90 gallon reef tank. I have had it for about 6 months now, but it was a complete setup I got from someone else and we transferred about 98% of the original water with the tank. Until recently my starfish was doing great - wandering the tank, eating well etc. Recently my water quality went to pot (high phosphate, low calcium, low alkalinity). We fixed this, but I think we changed the water parameters too fast (over about 4 days) as well as a regular water change at the time. Since then the star fish barely moves and although the dried seaweed I put underneath him disappeared, it may have been the hermit crabs that did this. Any ideas what I can do to help the starfish get his health back?
