Sick seahorse

I have a pair of H. Kudas that I have had for several months now. In the last couple of days I have noticed that the females snout looks like it is disintegrating (best description I can think of) it is going white and has a fiberglass look. Salinity 1.024 , temperature 79 , 0 nitites , almost no nitrates , 0 ammonia. I feed them fresh hatched brine shrimp and frozen mysis 3 - 4 times a day. The male seems fine and she eats like crazy. Any suggestions ? TIA

Try to bring the temperature down to at least under 74 degrees. It would be best if you could put her in a hospital tank and drop the temperature all the way down to 68. Can you get a picture? Is it just the snout looking white, or are there actually bits of the snout missing or bubbles developing on the snout?
