have a yellow tang that has stopped eating....it was transfered from small tank to a large 150.. water checks out ok but the tang is on the bottom lying on its side for 2 days....color is good and no sign of sickness.....any ideas????????

Tangs can be very sensitive to low oxygen levels. When my power went out, my other fish seemed fine, but my yellow tang was on his side gasping, until I got my generator going. Maybe somehow the new system isn't putting enough oxygen in the water? Just something to check. Good luck with him!

I agree with this tangs are alot more sensitive to the oxygen levels than most fish. Try pointing a powerhead at the surface of the water to get some oxygen into the tank.

I would also keep stress to a minimum, turn the lights off, and try not to move around the tank too much.
