Sick?

Hi, I've got a number of zoa's in my tank, over the last hour i've noticed a few of them, maybe 3 or 4 that have like a brown string like thing coming from the center of it. one just broke free and is kinda floating around the tank... What is this??? should I remove the floating stuff?

My guess, you've moved them or change the lighting or added something in you tank that improves water clarity? I read some where that those poop thingy are expelled zoo.
