Sigma 24mm Superwide Macro for my Nikon D40x?

Anyone have any experiences or suggestions on this lens? I mainly want it for my tank pics. I have someone locally selling one for a very decent price. I am still a rookie so any help would be great.

It will not be very good at taking close ups of specific corals. It can focus, (manually), close up, hence the macro, but it's more a wide angle lens. I have one and use it quite a bit, but not for the tank.

Yeah, wide angle lenses are good for FTS shots, but that's about it when using them for aquariums.
