Thanks for the welcome guys. Tell me more about the meeting, is it
soon? Jason, I can assure you the snakes don't leave the house,
but they are tiny, pink and harmless.

hi everyone i live 15 miles out of appleton in fremont. iknow of several people in the little town of 700 that have great tanks and me and my wife would love to help out and join what do you need from us let me know

Just your interest, Your right around the corner from Sunfish, I know this because I took the WRONG exit on the way to the meeting yesterday, and wound up in downtown Fremont for about 20 seconds, and found myself on the OTHER side of Fremont. Nice hiway by the way.

Stay, or visit long enough, you'll outgrow that Nano in no time at all. We can help you with that!

Anyway welcome! Usually within the next couple weeks, you'll see a post that says Feb meeting or something like that, come visit, it doesn't cost anything to infiltrate. We may make you say something corny like, "Hi, My name is Jason, I've had a problem with salt for awhile.... Guess it all strarted when I put Reef Crystals on my Honey Nut Cheereos..." or something like that.

Oh yeah, there's a yearly tax, everyone gives me a frag... :D :p :D

well i guess that really have been to fremont as for the tank i have a 55 but i have not found a place that i can find a light at a reasonable price or it would be going if you know of a good place

Also if you ever want to see the prize of my tank it is on the wall at aquarium pets in oshvagas its a brain that i got when i first started to fill my tank up it is on a good day about 1 and a half to twice the size of a softball that is why i am looking to eexpand it hard to even do a water change because it is about a inch away from the surface wish i had a digital camera i would post a pick
totally of the subject but you guys would be the ones to ask have had a problem with green hair lately any advice

Welcome reefcrusher and chappaj!

Our club is very informal. Theres no dues or anything.
If someone wants to have a meeting we just show up and talk reefs.

As for the hair algae I'd try some turbo snails.

i have one and a blenny all my levels are good still no luck being that i only have a ten it is hard too stay ahaed of the problem

RO water, SKIM SKIM SKIM, and I let my Calerpa grow out of control to fix it. Cheato didn't do the trick, had to be calerpa.
It's easier to control...

As for the light at a reasonable price, I just saw a Jebo 4X 55 W on ebay new for about 60$, Looking for MH's myself.

I'm stopping in to sign up. I don't know how much I can attend, but I do love forums, and for a while I was Mako56's personal pest! lol! Hi Mike!!!
If you're wondering where I'm at, well...
I have a 20g set up since october that is currently home to 2 or 3 peppermint shrimp, 2 little scarlet reef hermits, 2 H. Comes seahorses (boys), a green clown goby and a firefish. I have a small ball of chaeto and a little colerpa algae along with some live rock. I am almost 3 weeks into the cycle of my 38g into which all of the above critters will be moved in to.

Oh yeah, there's a yearly tax, everyone gives me a frag...

<sigh> There's (at least!) one in every club... :p

You guys may as well go ahead and sign me up as well. We won't actually be back in the area (haven't even found a house yet, but it will be somewhere in the Appleton-Neenah area most likely) until April, but we will be there.

Anyone want to house my corals for a while before I move back? I've got a 155 and a 46 that need to be emptied out in the next month. :D

Seriously, if anyone wants to help me set up the new tank (I'll be doing that before I actually move anything) I'd welcome the assistance. I'm more worried about the fish than the corals though...
