Actually, I am scheduled to host the WRS annual barbeque this summer. The WRS website says August, but it will more likely be July. Right now the tank isn't that great. I am recovering from a salinity mishap a few months ago. My salinity meter was off since I hadn't calibrated it in awhile and the salinity got quite high before I realized why my acros were all dying. Things are recovering now and I have also gotten a refractometer as a back-up. Hopefully I can add some new corals before I show my tank again.

You can definitly count me in also, I'm a little ways away, but will gladly drive (when I can, I work almost every Saturday). We don't have anything like this up here. I just was told about this group by one of the members, I'd really love to come.

We have freinds that live in three lakes, we'll have to stop by there sometime. Is the store open on the weekends? The coral farm sounds like it will be really cool, is that going to be open to the public, or is it just for shipping out the corals?

Add me as another "not quite living in the FV" member! I'm in Dodge Co- in the middle between Madison/Milwaukee/FDL.

Hope to make it for one of your meetings later this spring or summer.

Welcome rain and moujon!

I was wondering same thing about Dr. Fosters and Smith.
They told me last year when I ordered they have a sale every summer but never sent me the email for when it was.
I would love to see that place although she told me most of their corals we order are shipped from Cali.

Hey rain-
I sent you a pm but if you ever want to go to one of these meetings, I'd be willing to carpool with you. I'm right in your neighborhood in Tomahawk!

rain, they're not all on Saturdays, the March meeting was on a Sunday. I think it just depends on who's hosting. I joined just before the March meeting so I don't know what days the first 2 were on, but I know they try to alternate the meetings between the days so more people can make it.
