I was debating myself on a new tank and decided when i do upgrade itll have to be AGE or Leemar only. I really like my current AGE but want somethibg bigger. I hope both stay true to thier awesome quality and reputation by thr time i can get one. If not then its going to be "go Elos or go home". Ive seen so many elos tanks. Mostly at other reefers place and dangit everytime i enjoy them.

Yeah Max, your current tank is nice. How big are you going?

72x32x30 300g it came out to be about $13.50 per gallon. I might just get a Marineland 300DD w/ starphire front for less then half that with a life time warranty.

Can't really compare the 2 tanks. Keith tank ur probably doing euro braced or rimless. Marine land tank has a rim also marine,and stand is 28 tall is cause with dd tanks its 36" deep and if they make stand 36 tall it can't get thru most front door

Couldn't you build a base for the marineland stands. We just did this for a friends 200 dd. 8 inch platform, then the marineland stand. Keeps the warranty and now you have the right size stand.

Well, I'm still justifying the price points, 300DD is $1500 compared to the quote I recieved from Keith is more them doubled that. $2k can buy me a lot of goodies.

I had to add 12 inches to my Marineland stand before it was the height I wanted.

I had Keith build me a beautiful aquarium with clear silicon (like the acrylic look). He added some really nice and unique features that I don't think any of the other builders would have recommended.

36" x 24" x 20" Euro Braced top and bottom with 1/2" glass, low iron glass all three sides.

It was expensive, but I wanted something that I could trust. I wouldn't hesitate with Keith, and if you're doing something with a custom size I wouldn't think twice. I can see how it would be difficult to justify a standard tank dimension like a Marineland, but anything custom and he's the guy.

I don't know if Keith is still in the business however, that's what you'd need to find out!
