Signs of Pairing up?

Other than them sleeping in the same area, what signs should I look for to know that my clowns are paired up? And how do i get them to mate?
I know i have a female and a male. The larger one i had in the tank alone for a few months when i added a much smaller one. They have done the chasing and nibbling stage and now the host my heater.

They're a pair, don't try to guess when they'll spawn. even if they are able to spawn, doesn't mean they will for you. It's up to them.

proper food and water conditions are a plus! Try placing a small tile or clay pot in your system, they "should" lay their eggs there, when their ready....

You can increase your chances of spawning if you put them by themselves. Clowns will only spawn when they feel it is safe to do so, that is, they don't feel threatened and thus able to care for their nest. This doesn't mean they won't spawn on a community tank (mine did), but your chances are better if they are by themselves. Feeding often also helps, this helps condition the female to produce eggs. I've also noticed that the female tends to get "fat" towards the rear of the body when she is producing eggs. If the female is "fat" only toward the front, she is not yet producing eggs.
