Silicone cure time

SO I put baffles/dividers in my refugium to make it better and I was curious if what the shortest time someone has waited before re-introducing water to their tank with a new silicone job? The bottle says 24 hours to cure and I'm willing to wait this out but I just don't want my refugium being down to affect the small amount of inhabitants in my tank. Right now I just have 2 - maxijet 1200's circulating water in my display. anyone's thoughts or experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

A day or two without a sump is not going to hurt anything in your tank.

according to AGA silicone will be able to able to hold full strength after 24 hours but will not be compleatly non-toxic till 48 hours. I have never waited less time than 36 hours (and that was only once, and I added carbon to be safe).
