Has anybody tryed to use silicone as a rock glue? Instead of epoxy stick that never works. Does it hold how long for it to start to harden? Will the silicone even cure?

Migh pay not to use it in a going tank.
Have used it to glue together dry rock. You need to make sure it gets into the holes in the rock so it can key the pieces together rather than relying on it adhering to rock surfaces.

I highly recommend the mortar product that can be purchased online from Marco rocks. It is easy to mix, dries quickly and HOLDS !!! While it is still drying you can use a toothbrush to clean up the joint between the rocks and the mortar becomes almost invisible.
