i have always used a new razor blade to get the bulk of it off and then rubbing alcohol to clean it up

have you tried silcone remover? i broke my front glass in my quarneteen, drained it, put the silicone remover on waited an hour and it almost rubbed off. just a thought

I have used laquer thinner and acetone (the real stuff, not nail polish remover) They worked better than anything else I tried. A good sharp razor blade is best to get most off then use the chemicals.

I am reading that Brake cleaner and carburetor cleaner both work.

There is a product called goof off or something like that for removing paint splatters and such. That stuff will take anything off. You can buy it at lowes or HD.

Lots of elbow grease...LOL I used a non-stick safe scrubbing pad to help peel off all the old silicone from my 220.

non-stick safe scrubbing pad? Now if it's non stick, why would you need a scruubing pad? If you did need a scubbing pad, wouldn't that be because the non stick is already screwed up? lol

Anyone ever tried a tool for grout removal...I haven't but always thought it would work good. I think HD has one with angled blades.
