What type of silicone does everyone use in their tanks, I was looking for some to use in my sump to put up baffles and all of them I looked at said not for aquarium use or not for use underwater

Go to home depot and get yourself some Clear GE Windows and doors Silicone. Make sure it's the stuff that is NOT mold resistant. I used it to build a 80 gal tank and it's still holding; 3 years+.

Can we see some sump plans?

you just have to read the label

I have GE Silicone II it is 100% silicone as per the label

however there are some GE SIlicone II with mildew stuff in it, you dont want that one

after steph noticed that GE II had mildew stuff in it, I checked next time I was at home depot...there are TWO types of ge silicone II doors and windows...you want the one that does NOT have anti-mildew stuff....make sure its 100% silicone and none of that acrylic business

same time as Schplitter and we both said the same thing

PS: they all say "not for aquariums"...it is because they sell identical stuff labelled for aquariums for 3x the price
