single black specks on hypo-ed foxface

I have some fish in hypo right now. They are about 3 weeks in. The fox face broke out with ich almost immediately, as the hypo was beginning, and has done well since. There have been single black specks (one on each side) that are still evident, bigger than a grain of salt. Could this be scarring from the ich? Or is this some other situation that I need to treat separately?
Thanks

Possibly turbellarian (black ich) or some other type of worm. Too many possible species to say if hypo will cure it. I would wait it out a bit longer if the ich is getting better. You might have to use formalin or FW dips later if it is a parasitic worm.

I'm planning on finishing up the hypo treatment (about 2 more weeks). What exactly am I watching for as I wait it out? The ich has not been evident for over two weeks and the fish is feeding and looking great, other than the two black dots (about .75 mm diameter). Sorry I don't have a camera that can help out visually.
