single controller quit switching

My single controller quit switching speeds. Am I correct in assuming it is the controller?

It could be but make sure the photo cell is not in darkness and that the socket for the photocell did not get wet, also check that the pulse knob is not in off position.

I checked all that you said, still no switching. They're just on one of the settings. Anything else you suggest Roger?

So, the pump works but the speeds do not change?

If this is the case send it in but i will only be able to fix it if I get it before Friday as I leave for Germany Monday. It will be 2 weeks before I get back.

Roger, I'm a moron. While installing my new lights, I knocked off the photocell resting on the side of the tank. When I put it back, I set it sticky side up.

It works just fine now.
