I am considering a single Stream 6000 with a controller for a 90g FOWLR and would like to know if a this would be enough current to prevent dead spots in the tank. I would like to use this system to replace the two maxi-jet 1200s I'm presently using for circulation. I had thought of placing the Stream on the end of the tank and blowing the water lenthwise across the tank. Will the water bounce of the end of the tank and then flow back across the substrate if I position the unit near the surface? My live rock is about 3/4 of the height of the tank at one end and gently slopes down at the other, and there is about 4-6 inches of space both in front and behind.
