Hello,
I recently aquired a stars and stripes pufferfish. He is nearly 1ft long and was in bad shape when I got him. He was at a local store, and was battered by an equal sized clown trigger. To make a long story short, I put him in a 5 gallon bucket and drove home. By the time I got home he was hardly moving. The puffer managed to foul the transport water and was dieing from ammonia. I put him in my tank and he began to move again. For the past week he has been sitting nose down and unable to upright himself. I think something is wrong with his swim bladder. Is there any way of saving this fish or is he doomed? The fish is otherwise responsive...but does not eat.
Thanks,
Greg
