Six Line with a Flasher Wrasse

I've recently become very interested in the flasher wrasse family. I currently have a 95 gallon reef with a Six Line as one of the inhabitants, I've heard that it can be a rather aggresive fish, especially towards other wrasses. will this be a compatability problem should I add a flasher wrasse to the tank?

you will have major issues with the six line they do not mix well with flashers or fairys..if you want the flasher you will have to get the six line out

:(. Now I'm sad. The six line was my first fish though, I can't/won't ever get rid of him. Thanks for the help.

Since you added the 6 line 1st that could be an issue. I had a 30g with a yellowtail fairy wrasse, then added a small 6line after a couple months. Now they just swim around together most of the time even sharing the same caverns and crevices between the rocks.

It varies fish to fish, i would say.

I would agree if the sixline were small and not added first could work. I currently have a Leopard wrasse, Raidiant Wrasse and two spot hogfish living just fine. I know not quite the same scenario but none the less correctly adding in the right order goes along ways.

Don't forget the sizes (ages) of the fish could make a difference as well... and sex of the fishes, but that can be quite impossible to discern if not very difficult.

Anyway, good luck!
