Six Line Wrasse - Crab killer?

Hello everyone, I just added a six line wrasse (medium sized) to my 29 gallon tank yesterday and this morning my wife noticed that 2 of our red legged hermit crabs were dead. We've had the crabs for over 6 months and they were growing pretty well so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with a six line. Thanks!

My 6 line now resides in the sump/refugium until he is returned to the LFS as he began to harass everything in the tank after about 3 months of being in there. Attacking the clown, picking on the Chromis and even venturing his head into the entry cave of a pistol shrimp!

He did however leave the coralbanded and fire shrimp alone...

75 with about 75-80 lbs of LR plenty of hiding space, and should be enough room for the little guy to pick out a spot, but he likes the whole tank it seems...

Yea it looks like I'll be making a trip to the LFS later to bring him back. Too bad though he's a pretty cool looking fish and already seemed pretty active

Are you sure your two dead crabs aren't just molts?

6 lines can be insanely aggressive...most I've met were nasty lil things...
