Six line wrasse question

Ive had the same fish in my tank for a while which is just a pair of clowns...but I recently added a six line wrasse...my cleaner shrimp which I have had for a year just disapeared....is it possible that the six line wrasse could have eaten it?? The fish is an inch and a half

It's possible. Six lines have been known to go after ornamental shrimps.

How big was the cleaner shrimp?

I have a small sixline with my medium sized cleaner shrimp. So far so good. That would be tragic if the sixline decided to eat him. He doesn't really have any claws to defend himself.

Well if you put a fish that is known to be aggressive towards shrimp with a shrimp, what do you expect?
