Sixline

I recently saw a sixline at my LFS and I'm curious to know more about them. I have a MCF and a domino damsel (soon to be out ) in my 75g I'm curious to see what I feed them, will they work in my tank.. ETC ETC.. thanks in advance guys

My six line is constantly hunting. I haven't noticed him eating the Danichi pellets but, he eats frozen stuff when I add weekly. (shrimp, squid, & Formula 2) I make a milkshake out of those, tank water & garlic. Good luck.

A Sixline should work in your tank. I mainly feed my Sixline Wrasse flake, and frozen foods. He is always roaming around the tank eating pods, worms, sponges, tiny starfish, etc.

mine eats frozen food. but beware, mine is very aggressive towards new commers.

Mine eats anything that moves. I love my 6 Line! Once they get past the shyness they really do neat things. I have mine with a clown and yellow watchman in a 90g.

He eats frozen mysis, krill, and brine; and OSI small pellets and OSI flake.

I just lost mine last week when it decided to jump out 2 feet away from the tank. =(

mine was a great tank addition!! very very colorful no doubt...i feed him prime reef and he eats nearly 1/8tsp in about a minute...very very full of character too, swimming up to the glass and following me as i walk by...great fish

I think they are reef safe but have seen mine nipping at my leather finger a couple of times.

Mine has been in the system from about the 3rd week of setup. He eats anything I can put in there and is always hunting.

As mentioned a few posts back, it is not too welcoming of newcomers, although it is not really aggressive to them either.

great fish IMO. a staple in my tanks. eat about anything and they can keep some pests at bay (snails that kill clams, flatworms, etc). fun always moving fish
