Size of a wave using a wave box

I have a one year old 84"x30"x30" tank full of lps / euphilia corals. i also have 2 weirs one at each far corner of the tank, the tank is made of 12mm glass with a double base.

The current flow consists of 2 x 6000's with 7095 controller, i struggle to place the streams so that the corals do not get direct high flow. With the size of my tank i get areas that hardly get any flow.

I've been thinking of getting a wave box to give a gentle water movement thought the tank.

can you please answer the following questions to help me get the right product.

1. With the length of my tank what maximum wave height can I obtain and how much clearance i should have.
2. The smallest wave height
3. Will it have any negative affects with the current 2 x 6000
4. Will there be any problems with extra water going down to my sump due to the wave?
5. How does the constant use of a wave box determent my glass tank life span?

I hope you don't mind answering all these questions but the wave box is an expensive piece of equipment.

1) Probably a max of 1.5-2"
2) You could throttle it down to about 1/2" or do a double wave each between 3/4 and 1"
3) No.
4) The overflows will surge and may be a bit noisier.
5) It will shorten the life of a well made tank by about 15%, so figure instead of 15-20 year life 12-17.

Thanks Rodger for answering all the questions, I have one more.

Are there any problems using a wave box in a lps dominated tank, is the flow "back and forth" suitable for lps / euphila corals?
