Size of food for clams

I was wondering what size of food clams like to eat. At my LFS they have live phyto by Reef Crew, Nannochloropsis oculata. It says on the package that it is 2 to 8 µm, is this the right size? thanks.

the idea size is between 2nm and 50nm but they will feed on up to about 200nm.
