skeletor moray in a reef

thinking about picking up one of these but not sure how it will fare in a reef setting along with fish. I hope it's similar to a zebra in its temperment but i have no experience with them. It would go into a 110 tall tank that currently has a CB butterfly, Kole tang, Occ. clownfish, 1 dispar anthia, melanurus wrasse and a mandarin. This would be my final addition to the tank and my main concerns are going to be with the mandarin since its not a fast moving fish. Any experiences would be appreciated. Thanks

Seen quite a bit of success with skeleton morays in reef tanks, I have a 2.5' Zebra Moray in my reef, probably the coolest thing in there, it's pretty cool to see him out at night swimming in the open water stretched out!He lives with Blennies, Gobies, Various shrimps, crabs, he is harmless. My Tailspot Blenny will swim up and spit sand in his face an then run.

Here is an old photo of Merv and His right hand shrimp.

well, i pulled the trigger on one. Bought the one on DD that they had posted yesterday. Seems like he is a little guy right now at only 6 1/2" so i shouldnt have to much to worry about as far as him eating his tank mates  he will be here on saturday so pics to come!!!

Nice! I love those eels and was thinking about starting up another setup just to keep one... Keep us updated...

I don't know what size it was ,but make sure you have good screen over your tank. Mine slipped out of the 1/4 inch screen on my tank.

i was going to make a cover using plexiglass to keep the eel in. I was going to go to lowes and get to panes cut for the top of my tank and then drill holes in it to allow for gas exchange etc. should this be fine? i know ideally it should be somthing heavier but he is coming in pretty small at about 6 1/2" - i dont THINK he should be able to push open the top at his size but someone please correct me if im wrong because i would hate to lose him on his first week in the tank. Also as far as feeding i was planning to just feed him PE mysis since its pretty large does this sound acceptable? and how should he be fed per week?
