Skimmate Question

During my cycle my protein skimmer collected some goopy black stuff very waterlike. Now that the cycle is over it seems like I am not gettin very much out of the skimmer. The bubbles do not amass as high and pop like they did during the cycle.

Is this normal for the skimmer to have a reduced amount of skimmate, probably due to a light load, or is there a problem with the skimmer.

Inside my tank is 2 occeallaris clowns, 5 scarlet hermits, and about 12 snails.

if you dont have alot in the tank to make goop then theres not going to be much goop to skim out. completely normoral for what you have in the tank.

Also if you use a turkey baster to blow dirt off the rock U will see the skimmer start to work again
