Skimmer bubbling like crazy

Hey guys I just started my tank and all i have in there is live rock and live sand. My skimmer is only a couple days old and its still in the break in period, i have it running on the lowest setting and the collection cup is full with bubbles. It even started bubbling out of the vent holes. I just added some Kent Marine Pro clear to remove the haze from the new sand, could this be causing bubbling?

Possibly. If it is still going crazy in a couple of days then I'd be concerned that something in your water chemistry is not right.

Mine was just installed tonight....and the output is throwing out tons of bubbles.
Read on the guide that if you use any kind of water conditioner/ stress coat, etc it will cause this problem.

By bubbling do you mean very very wet bubbles that are flooding you skimmer or just tons of foam? There is a large difference.
