Debating what skimmer to get...

Fish only tank very heavy bio load.

Sump is 13 1/2 x 11 1/2 water level 5 to maybe 7in max 27 in high max

What would be a good skimmer? Id like to spend the least amount but nothing is cheap in this hobby.

In the past i ran reef ouctpos with poor results always overflowing or not doing anything always messing with it.

Been reading a lot of good stuff about eshopps snow cones but the s-300 won't fit in my sump. would the s-200 be a good choice?

Thinking sro-2000 int or s-200 but both are rated for smaller tanks but due to limited space not much i can do...

Anyother thoughts or experiences would be great!!!

Another thing id like to say is why do we need such a big skimmer? My experience is you over skim then and it runs for hours doing nothing. Why not under skim and it works good 24/7? Im i missing something?

I'm putting together a 220g build and after a ton of research I'm leaning towards a 30" lifereef or a Aquamax co-3. I have a co-1 now and it's the best skimmer I've owned for my 90g.
