I'm picking out skimmers for the 29 I have running. I'm down to a Reef Octopus Hang on the Back Skimmer OCT BH100

Plan is to have mixed reef including SPS. I'm not sure I can fit a clam in the 29 so maybe on that one. I'm hesitant becuase I do plan to upgrade to either a 65 or 90, with the skimmer being in the sump, but I know it will be tough to have corals now without a skimmer and I'm just not sure how long til the upgrade comes. I have a 10g refugium now so really no space in there for a skimmer.
I like the reef octopus has the pump outside the water so really no heat going in and it won't be ugly looking at, however you really only read good things about the remora. Let me which you would use.
