skimmer for a 240

I would like to get opinions on a recirculating beckett skimmer for my 240. what are the best? MRC?? I would like to buy one in the next month or two. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure that I know what a recirclating beckett skimmer is. As far as beckett skimmers go I have heard good things about MRC and Aqua-C, and I own a Precision Marine skimmer that I like very much. I think that you'd be fine with any of these. Just make sure that you use a substantial return pump with any Beckett skimmer, usually the smaller pumps on the manufdacturer's recommendations are a waste of time - go with the highest presure pump that they recommend. The waste contawiners are very useful too. If I didn't have one I would have to clean the collection cup daily - I have to clean the 5L waste container about every week and a half or so as it is.

the recurculating have a pump that feeds the beckett, and another pump that recirulates the water in the skimmer and adds more air to the mix. I think it is a new concept that mrc invented. look at their website.
