Skimmer for a 30 gallon

What would be a good in sump skimmer for a 30 gallon tank

I was looking at a 9002. But someone told me they can't be used in sump.


I currently have a 9410 on my 220.

Would have the required 9 inches of depth required for the 9004

I have the Bubble Magus Curve 5 in my sump of my frag tank. It is perfectly sized, but is very sensitive to water height fluctuations. I think i run it in 8 inches of water. It does a great job.

I don't really think I need a skimmer that big though. That's rated up to 140g

But the water depth. I think that's gonna be my issue.

8-10 water depth.Might have to raise water depth

I have a reef octopus 110int on my 29 gallon with 10 gallon sump.I have a heavy bioload and it works great.I have a aquamaxx ws1 on a 20 gallon long and 10 gallon sump,both work great.

I do plan on adding a space in the sump for growing macro as well
