Currently I have a Coral Life 125 for my 75gl tank. Running on the same system I have two 29 gl tanks housing clownfish and doubling as refugiums. There's also around an 18 gallon sump.
While I like the fact that I can hang the skimmer off the side of the sump and have the pump and return flow back into the tank, this clearly is not enough of a skimmer for my tank.
I have around ten fish including the 29's and am getting into SPS at the moment.
Can anyone recommend a good skimmer that is designed to hang off the side of the sump like the Coral Life is?
Or, is the Coral Life good and I just have to clean it more often? My understanding is that the rule of thumb is to go twice as large as your tank capacity as far as skimmers go.
