Skimmer for a 90g... anyone got a used one?

Sorry, I should have specified... I'm looking for an in-sump skimmer. :)

I do like that Ocotopus... hmmm...

Thanks.

Brandon

I have a Reef Octopus Extreme 160 on my 100 reef, and it is incredible. It is very dependent on the level of the sump, but once I had it dialed in, there was no turning back for me.

I chose that one becasue it was the absolute largest one that I could fit in the area that it was going in my sump, and I am very glad I got it. I get a good half a collection cup of nasty at least every other day.

Sweet, man... thanks for the reply!

I'm definitely leaning toward an Octopus... they're great skimmers for the money.

Get one of the XP 2000 series cone skimmers. You can get one for $379 shipped from AquaCave. The Bubble Blasters are good pumps.

Yeah, those are sweet. I worry they may be a little bit out of the budget. At least for now. But that is a great price on one, though. I will have to talk to the guys who are doing this tank and see what they think. :)

Yep... I'm also looking pretty closely at the NWB-150. I've got a heavily modified DNW-200 on my tank... great skimmer, although I think my 45g is too small for it!

I take it you like your DNW-110?
