Skimmer for sale...

Hi all

Due to some changes I am making in the fish room I need to put my skimmer up for sale.

Skimmer is a Trigger Systems TS300 with a modified beckett injector.
Skimmer comes with a Sequence Reeflo Whahoo pressure rated pump.
Included also is an auto shutoff collection cup and custom acrylic stand.
I will also inlude the plumbing between the pump and skimmer.

System value new is 850.00

First 500.00 takes it all
I would prefer NOT to ship it and would be willing to drive to Iowa CIty area to meet you for a drop off. I am in the quad cities.

I think if you ask any of the club member who have seen this skimmer set up they will tell you how nice it is. It is in perfect condition also.

This is beginning to get tempting...by any chance does the collection cup have a float valve for if it overflows?

oops, I read that it does. Now I'm curious about how to plumb it. Does it require that you have a sump with a bulkhead fitting? Or can the pressure rated pump suck the water from over the top of the sump?

I've been tempted by this several times, just can't afford it right now, my wife would kill me if i were to buy it. Lee you should snag up on it, its a great deal!

I have seen online ways to draw water over the sump, but I believe that if you took the time to put the bulkhead in it would be best in the long run. Research it though because I have not.

biggest thing about pulling over the top of the sump is not losing the prime on the pump.
