Skimmer for ******* Tank

Need your help! I have a ******* 50gal Pentagon tank with the Simplicity Plus filter system. According to *******, the recommended protein skimmer will not fit. Also, if a cut the top to insert a skimmer, my warranty will be cancelled. Is there a filter that can fit in a space under 2" wide?

You'll probably want to find a hang on the back skimmer that will work. You could try an external, but they are usually designed for larger systems, and cost a lot.

I've looked at hang on skimmers but the pump has to fit in the sump. I found some pumps that can fit but it's not made for skimmers. So I'm stuck with a nice tank without the fish.
