I have a octopus extreme 200 skimmer for the last eight mouths working fine . I come home and a find that it is making big bubbles instead of little bubbles ? Anyone now what I need to do? I have been using the needle wheel sense I bought it and it has been ok. thanks for any help you can do .

Check the air intake, make sure its clean , also check the needle wheel and the chamber where the magnet is.

yep, have you popped the pump open and checked the air/water plumbing lines for obstructions?

and have you looked at replacing that jankey pinwheel with the ATB large purple pinwheel or mesh? makes a big difference in performance.

just got done taking it apart and cleaning the needle wheel and it was a little dirty but not to bad. where can I get the upgrade?

Can get the PPW from ReefSpecialty, and then you may have startup probs. It works well if you don't though. Kinda hit or miss.
