I currently have a 90 gallon set up AGA with drilled overflow. I was wondering what kind of skimmer would you suggest. I am looking at the deltec mc500 or mce600 because my sump is kind of small so I was thinking of hanging it on the sump. Or I was thinking of an AquaC urchin for in sump. My compartment size in the sump is about a 10" by 10" space and I was thinking of a euro reef but that would monopolize all that space and then the return pump I have wouldnt be able to fit. I have two return pumps and am trying to decide which one to use.
I have an Eheim 1250 which is small and silent, so maybe space left for in-sump skimmer. I also have an Eheim 1262 which has a low hum but takes up a lot of sump space, no space or very little for in-sump skimmer. I was even thinking if I used the 1262 which is giving me way too much flow maybe I would be able to use tubing/piping to use the 1262 to supply the display tank and also a protien skimmer, that might save space.
Or do you think it is better to try and drill into my sump put in a bulkhead and then connect a skimmer that way?
looking for any and all suggestions. Thanks.
