Skimmer help

Okay I give up. I need to get this stupid coralife 220 working. The two pumps that came with the two skimmer are leaking electricity. The pump I bought today is useless with it. What pump do I need to make this thing work? I gotta get it going soon!

What kind of pump did you buy? Why will it not work?

An aqua via that is going back today. The venturi doesn't pull enough air.

i think it has to be a needlewheele pump to work

The CL super skimmers will not work with just any pump and require a needle wheel pump for proper operation. My advice is to contact Coralife and tell them the pump needs replacing, if it is a new skimmer they should send you a replacement.

This is the replacement from the first pump that also electrified the tank. I don't trust their pumps at all now. I need a pump from somebody a lttile more relliable in pump design.
