I have an aqua c remora and I empty the cup every 2-3 days.
Very pleased with this hob skimmer.

I plugged my skimmer back in last night and woke up this morning with the water crystal clear! Thanks for all the help everyone. I'm going to let it run most of the day and start cycling the tank this evening [emoji16]

If your tank is already up and filled, its cycling. Would help to add some source of ammonia though. Why wait til crystal clear water, since that doesn't affect anything?

I bought the reef mature pro kit to help speed the cycling along so that's what I meant by that. But you're right, I guess the cloudiness doesn't really matter. My salt levels are good, temperature is good, and everything is running. So I'll go ahead and add it in. Thanks!
