Has anyone ever used this stuff? Is it any good?

I have never used that product but its basically a CO2 scrubber (chemical media). If you have access to do it, simply run the air intake line from your skimmer outside and it does the same thing. Either approach is going to have an impact on air intake because of the restrictions. But, too many people run systems without scrubbers or outside air without pH issues so unless you are having pH issues, its not really worth it either way.

CO2 scrubbers work but the media is generally pretty expensive and is exhausted pretty rapidly.
Looks like an absurd way of throwing money away. Your tank should be able to buffer itself if set up correctly and you don't have something surpressing your ph. If you do have ph issues, I'd much rather use kalk to increase the ph..it's cheap and will give you much more than a ph bump!
