skimmer problem

i got a etss reef devil a while ago and havent hooked it up until now
its connected to a t3 pump with a ball valve on the pump to decrease the flow
the problem im having is that it doesnt seem like theres a lot of air going through
there are SOME micro bubbles and there is also very large bubbles about the size of dimes to pennies
i was just wodnering if anyone knew what was going on?

bubbles that large are usually an indication of excessively low salinity. your profile says you're working on a new setup, you do have salt mixed in already right?

yeah its been mixed for a couple of days and its at 30 ppt
i actually emailed etss and they told me that its typical to have larger bubbles in the break in period
i guess we'll see what happens
