Skimmer Problems???

Just the other day my skimmer started sounding like a jumbo jet was taking off right inside my living room.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

There might be some gunk stuck in the impeller, or possibly it's cracked.
I'd recommend taking the pump out and giving it a good cleaning.
What kind of skimmer is it?

Octopus NW150. I was thinking somewhere along those lines (meshmod fell off the needlewheel). Good look fuzzy.

Yeah I'm betting the mesh mod fell off.
