The pump for my 230/3 skimmer quit working with no warning. The skimmer's been running for about 5 months. The pump is not not jamed and all seems to be in working condition. What could be wrong?
You probably have an early version from 2000-2001 which was different looking, it would be best to replace it with the current version but otherwise you will need to pry the back end piece off.
Ahh, it is only 5months old. I guess you meant the other end which on yours has an impeller instead of a propeller. They are essentially the same otherwise. If you live near Metarie, Rick at Rick's Reef can probably get it running for you.
